Victoria Kelly, a participant who garnered recognition for her exemplary performance, shared with CBS Austin that despite the challenges, "it was a lot of fun." She also mentioned that the program played a pivotal role in her self-discovery journey and that parting ways with her teammates was a bittersweet moment.

Interested individuals can learn more and apply to the program by visiting the AFD's website, and while participation doesn't guarantee acceptance into the fire academy, it has proven to be beneficial for those wishing to proceed to the next level.
