Charlotte's community is mourning the loss of Terri Graham, who died at age 68 after an eight-year struggle with ovarian cancer. Terri, the wife of Mel Graham, a notable figure in Charlotte's real estate scene and chairman and CEO of Graham Enterprises, passed on June 28, leaving behind a legacy of grace and corporate design influence on the many projects she undertook for the company, as announced by QC News.

Survived by her husband Mel Graham, with whom she shared a half-century journey that spanned from high school romance to 38 years of marriage, Terri is remembered for her dignity and sense of humor. Mel Graham said in a statement, "For the past eight years, your prayers for Terri and me have helped sustain us through her long battle with cancer and all its terrible effects. Your support and prayers have been so vital and held us as she has passed through these deep waters of affliction. Terri brought life and joy to everything she touched, and she will be deeply missed" This statement was shared with the public through a WBTV news release.

The couple's business contributions to the region include various residential communities, golf courses, and retail centers. But beyond her business role, Terri was also known for her deep involvement with the Central Church on Sardis Road in Charlotte and her commitment to faith-based initiatives, drawing from her close association with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritans Purse, both of which Mel serves as a board member.

To commemorate her life, a celebration service is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, at Central Church, which suggests the attendees wear her favorite color, pink, or bright spring colors. In an effort to accommodate those unable to physically attend, the McEwen Funeral Home will provide a livestream of the service, available by clicking the Join Livestream icon on their website. After the service, friends invited by the family can meet in the church's Weatherby Hall for visitation with the Graham family, as confirmed by the WBTV report.
