This staggering figure not only tops the state's charts but also leaves Berks County, the second-highest county, trailing by a significant $993,000, as reported by Chester County, Pennsylvania.
This financial backing underscores the commitment to honor the service of those who have donned the country's uniform. "Chester County values and serves veterans by helping them navigate and access services and benefits owed to them as members of the United States military," Susan Price, Director of the County’s Veterans Affairs, said in a statement. Price continued, "Not only is this good for veterans and their families, but it is also good for the county’s economy and local businesses. We are proud that the veterans in our community are utilizing and benefiting from the assistance of the County’s Veterans’ Affairs Office."
The range of services that Chester County Veterans’ Affairs provides is vast, catering to various needs including healthcare, education, assistance with substance abuse or mental health issues, and compensation for injuries or disabilities, as per Chester County, Pennsylvania.
