Chaos briefly descended on the Park Haven Apartments as officers and emergency personnel rushed to assist a child who was struck by a vehicle on the evening of July 16th. According to the Brooklyn Park Police Department Alert, the incident occurred around 7:53 PM at the apartment complex located in the 7000 block of 76th Ave N.
Suffering from what were described as minor injuries, the child was quickly attended to by responders from the Brooklyn Park Fire and subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, as per the Brooklyn Park Police Department.
While details involving the accident continue to be investigated, officers reported having spoken with several witnesses and the involved driver.
