Over 70 participants representing 22 municipalities crowded into the Eco Park building's conference room this June for a two-day training extensively covering topics like traffic control planning and materials testing, a move that promises to streamline and improve construction projects in the region.
The training was organized by the City of Dallas Department of Public Works and the North Central Texas Council of Governments, a partnership that signifies a vested interest in not only fortifying infrastructure but also in fortifying inter-city relationships Don Spear, the Public Works training manager, spearheaded the session, expressing satisfaction at the turnout and the diverse experience levels ranging from novices to veterans with decades of service.
