A shooting incident in North Philadelphia has left one man dead and another injured, according to reports from the local authorities. Officers discovered the victims on the 3500 block of North Warnock Street late Saturday night, shortly after 11 p.m., with one man suffering a fatal gunshot to the head, 6abc reports.
The critically injured man was swiftly transported to Temple University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries while another victim, who reportedly showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, is currently listed in stable condition, the hospital's emergency department confirms. Following the tragic event, onsite NBC10 crews counted approximately 18 shell casings, a grim tally that belies the violence inflicted upon the 24-year-old and 19-year-old men the latter of which was shot in the knee, as NBC Philadelphia detailed in their coverage.
