A road rage incident in Ontario turned violent this past Saturday when a driver stabbed another motorist several times following a confrontation. The altercation, which was caught on video, occurred around 2 p.m. near Holt Boulevard and Mountain Avenue. Ontario Police have since arrested the assailant, as reported by NBCLA.

The trouble began when a white SUV cut off another driver, leading to a heated exchange. According to Eyewitness News, surveillance video shows the white SUV pulling into a parking lot before the driver, along with a woman, began gesturing and yelling at the driver of a silver SUV across the street. The silver SUV driver then charged into the parking lot, confronting the occupants of the white vehicle. In a fit of anger, the driver of the silver SUV attempted to punch the driver of the white SUV, initiating an assault that would quickly escalate.

Further footage captured by cell phone video, later posted to TikTok, shows the altercation intensifying with the driver of the white SUV, dressed in a white T-shirt and pants, pulling out a knife and stabbing the other driver multiple times. The victim did not require hospitalization, and the perpetrator fled the scene only to be arrested afterwards based on the video evidence provided.

Ontario Police Cpl. Josh Luster advised against engaging with aggressive drivers. "You don't want to engage these people, especially when they're in that emotional mindset," he said in an interview with Eyewitness News. "Look at that incident on Saturday, how it escalated so quickly." He recommends that anyone finding themselves in such a situation should call 911 rather than attempt to resolve it themselves.
