Eden Prairie's summer is set up to be an active one with a slate of sports programs for all ages. To encourage physical activity and community engagement, the city's Parks and Recreation department is offering an array of classes that range from T-ball to tennis and even a "Ninja Warrior Fitness" course for the youngest athletes, as per the City of Eden Prairie, MN. These programs are open for registration, giving families a chance to plan a sporty and fun-filled summer.
Starting with the little ones, ages as young as two can learn soccer, basketball, or even the basics of cricket, a sport that's been tagged as one of the fastest growing in the States. According to the Eden Prairie website, no prior experience is needed to join the cricket sessions, starting July 11. As for "TGA Golf Camp," taking place from July 22 to 25, it promises expert instruction along with entertaining activities designed to keep young golfers engaged and improving their swing.
Lacrosse and badminton are also on the docket for "Sports Unlimited Camps," catering to children aged 5-12. The Eden Prairie Parks and Recreation website details further opportunities like archery camps, which include "Archery Basics," "Archery Skills," and "Archery Teen" sessions for those between 9 and 14 years old, aimed at sharpening focus and precision.
Meanwhile, the Lynch Basketball Camp is set to run from July 29 through August 2, targeting older kids, ages 10-13. They'll get a chance to develop their skills in ball handling, shooting, and defensive strategies. Not forgetting adults, tennis programs tailored to different skill levels are available, from beginners to those interested in league play, ensuring that summer leagues can be enjoyed by entire families, with a misplaced modifier adding a whimsical twist to their dribbling and serves.
