A confrontation in the Harris County neighborhood spiraled into an arrest when deputies responded to a weapons disturbance earlier this week. According to the official Facebook post from the Precinct 4 Constable's Office, deputies arrived on the scene in the 20500 block of Fernbush Drive last Sunday to find a brawl spilling into the street.

One of the involved individuals, later identified as Cedric Williams, was seen holding a long rifle. Williams refused to comply with verbal warnings and attempted to evade law enforcement on foot. The deputies were able to quickly catch up and detain him. They found that the weapon in his possession was a short barrel firearm that had not been registered, as reported on the Constable's official Facebook page.

Following the incident, “Cedric Williams was arrested, booked into the Harris County Jail, and charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Evading Arrest. His bond was set at $15,100.00 out of the 482nd District Court and County Court 11. ” Constable Mark Herman commented in the online statement.
