In an unsettling discovery on Sunday, a pair of individuals stumbled upon human remains shrouded in a blue bag while ambling through woodland near Thousand Oaks and Wurzbach Parkway on the northeast side of the city, a site now swarmed by police investigators and forensic experts in an attempt to unravel the macabre mystery that these bones present, as reported by KEN5.
According to the initial report, the woman and man were traversing the trails when they sighted a blue F-150 truck stuck in the mud and shortly thereafter the ominous bag containing the bones and articles of clothing was; spotted officers, as of yet, have not been able to determine whether the remains are human or animal.
CSI teams have converged on the scene, meticulously working their way through the evidence in the hopes of providing some clarity and, possibly, closure to a narrative that has only begun to unfold.
