A tragic incident occurred late Thursday evening in Kalamazoo where a 38-year-old man's life was cut short while riding his bicycle after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle, according to MLive. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at the intersection of Riverview Drive and East B Avenue in Cooper Township at around 11 p.m. The victim, whose name has not yet been disclosed, was pronounced dead at the crash site.
Currently, law enforcement officers are in pursuit of the driver of a truck believed to be a 1998-2004 Ford pickup, as reported by WZZM13, who fled the scene shortly after the fatal collision and has not been apprehended yet, the search is ongoing and the authorities have yet to locate the vehicle.
