According to the Long Beach Police Department's official blotter, officers responded to the 3300 block of Studebaker Road at about 8:24 p.m. on July 29, following reports of a stabbing. They discovered a male adult victim presenting with a stab wound to the upper body, which was described as non-life-threatening.
The victim, whose identity has been withheld, refused medical treatment at the scene, as per the LBPD. It emerged that he was wounded following an escalation of a verbal disagreement with another male adult, who purportedly entered the victim's residence without consent. The confrontation escalated, leading to the suspect inflicting a stab wound on the victim before fleeing. The police are now investigating the incident, searching for motives and aiming to piece together suspect information.
