
Earlier today, San Antonio's streets became the backdrop for a shooting incident that left one man injured. The San Antonio Police Department was called to the 300 block of North Pinto Street around 12:30 a.m., following reports of a shooting in progress. According to KENS 5, the 29-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to his arm but was fortunately in stable condition when transported to BAMC.
Recounting the incident, the man reported to police officers that he was driving on Guadalupe Street when the unexpected attack occurred. Shots rang out, seemingly aimed to directly strike at him. At this time, police have yet to release a description of the suspected assailant. The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge as it unfolds.
In a slightly different account provided to KSAT, the victim, a 28-year-old man, was in the area of Chupaderas and Torreon Street when the incident occurred. The victim described a scene where four men stood, two on each side of the street, before gunfire erupted. Believing he was caught in crossfire, the wounded man managed to drive himself to Pinto, where he placed the 911 call.
Authorities noted that his car marked by bullet holes that punctured its exterior. While exact details of the shooting remain fragmented, SAPD continues to piece together the narrative. The man, who sustained an arm injury, is expected to make a full recover.
