Early yesterday morning, the Metropolitan Police Department reported a prompt arrest following a stabbing incident in Northwest D.C. The encounter, occurring around 4:50 a.m. near 12th Street and U Street, caught the attention of Third District officers who patrolled the area and were alerted to the situation by witnesses.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the victim, found with multiple stab wounds, was quickly assisted by the officers. The alleged aggressor, identified by the injured party while still on the scene, was arrested by the police.
DC Fire and EMS arrived swiftly to provide medical aid and transported the victim to a local hospital, where they are currently being treated for life-threatening injuries. The suspect, 42-year-old Tyrone Graham of Southeast, is facing charges of Assault with Intent to Kill.
