Demanding the employees open the cash register, the suspect successfully made away with an undisclosed sum of money before fleeing the scene. It's reported that no one was physically harmed during the incident, although the emotional and psychological impacts of such events are not as easily quantified. Local businesses in the area have been on high alert since the robbery was reported.
The MPD has released surveillance images of the suspected perpetrator and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
