The Minneapolis Police Department has announced they will be present at the upcoming Sidewalks & Streets event to assist residents with vouchers for free car light repairs. In a community-oriented move, the first of such events is set to take place this weekend, Saturday, July 20, from 11 am to 4 pm. The location is the University Research Outreach Center, prominently situated at 2001 Plymouth Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55411, according to the Minneapolis Police Department. This initiative, part of a series of outreach efforts, aims to engage the Minneapolis community in practical, service-based interactions with local law enforcement.
As per a social media post by the Minneapolis Police Department, residents can drop by during these hours to receive assistance with car light issues that can often lead to safety concerns or traffic violations.
The Minneapolis Police Department stated, "We look forward to seeing you at the event!" reads the ending note of their announcement, symbolizing an open invitation to all residents for engagement and conversation.
