Philadelphia authorities are turning to the community for assistance in locating a man connected to an assault incident in a South Philly Dollar Tree store. As stated by officials, a female was subjected to an indecent assault at the establishment on 56 E. Snyder Ave, during the prior month. The police have circulated an image of the man they believe to be involved in this unsettling occurrence, as reported by FOX 29 News.
Employees at Dollar Tree have conveyed to authorities that the man is known to visit areas in Snyder Plaza and may also be found by the I-95 underpass, a location where, they suggest, he often parks his vehicle. The suspect is described as a male, estimated to be between 25 and 30 years of age, about six feet in height with a stocky frame, a short receding hairline, and sporting a full beard. During his last sighting, he was seen donning a black t-shirt, gray shorts, and black sneakers, NBC10 Philadelphia, detailed.
The Philadelphia Police Department is urgently seeking information and has asked anyone with knowledge concerning the suspect's identity or whereabouts to come forward. This move underscores the community's role in aiding law enforcement to ensure the safety and security of the neighborhood. With the store situated at a busy intersection, the chances of witnesses or individuals who recognize the suspect are considered to be high.
