Residents can expect "Mostly sunny, with a high near 91," for today, as reported by the NWS, featuring a southwest wind around 10 mph, this evening's prospects shift as there's "a chance of showers between 2am and 5am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5am," under partly cloudy skies and a low circling around 75, and while the west wind around 5 mph is poised to become calm the chance of precipitation gestures to a modest 40% with new rainfall measuring less than a tenth of an inch, though this could escalate amidst thunderstorms.
The forecast for Friday is less optimistic, with an "A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 8am," with an 80% chance of precipitation and an expected high near 84 degrees. In the latter part of Friday, the outlook darkens, anticipating "Showers and possibly a thunderstorm" accompanied by "Patchy fog," as conditions remain humid and temperatures dip to a low of around 74, while the gentle south wind at 5 mph remains consistent.
Saturday and Sunday will bring more instability with showers likely and a possible thunderstorm before 2pm, followed by a cloudy high near 88 and yet again, Saturday night might see additional showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm with "Patchy fog" but afterward, it should relent to partly cloudy skies and a low around 75, and while the chance of precipitation lingers at 30% new rainfall may be less unless thunderstorms brew anew.
Moving into next week, sunlight claims the stage once more, with the NWS predicting "Mostly sunny, with a high near 95," for Sunday and a persistent heatwave set for Monday and Tuesday with temperatures soaring to a high near 97. Nights are expected to remain warm as the lows hover around the mid to high 70s. Wednesday might see a return of earlier patterns with a "chance of showers and thunderstorms," amidst mostly sunny conditions and a high near 96 degrees.
