The San Diego Humane Society is reaching out to the public for clues on two golden retrievers recently dropped off at their Oceanside Campus, dogs that the Humane Law Enforcement suspects may have been subject to harm. According to the San Diego Humane Society, a man known only as Brandon brought in the dogs last Thursday and Friday and claimed they were strays.

Both dogs are male, around 9 to 10 months old, and microchipped with the American Kennel Club. However, the chips do not provide current ownership details, making them unhelpful for the humane society's investigation. Anyone with information about the retrievers or a man named Brandon, who was seen driving a white Toyota 4Runner, is urged to come forward. Jace Huggins, Chief of Humane Law Enforcement, stated that Brandon is not a suspect and they are simply trying to learn the dogs' history.

Witnesses or anyone with tips should call the San Diego Humane Society’s Humane Law Enforcement at 619-299-7012 or email [email protected]. The event remains unclear, leaving officials and the community seeking answers.
