Chilling details have emerged about an armed robbery at Del Campo High School, which sent the school and its neighbor, Will Rogers Middle School, into lockdown last Tuesday. According to a Facebook post by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, the suspect, a 15-year-old student, allegedly robbed another student at gunpoint in the school restroom.
Responding to the incident around 1 PM that day, deputies conducted a thorough search and were able to to quickly lift the lockdown. During their investigation, authorities established that the suspect had accosted the victim from behind, wielding a handgun to forcibly take a necklace before fleeing the scene. This information was meticulously pieced together with the help of Del Campo High School's administration.
The intensive manhunt concluded on Thursday evening with the suspect's arrest. Detailed in the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office communication, an arrest warrant had been issued with no bail set, leading to the juvenile being booked into the Sacramento County Youth Detention Facility.
