Residents of the 14000 block of Cellini Drive faced an unwelcome intrusion as burglars broke into a home earlier this month. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office quickly decamped to the scene after receiving a report last Tuesday. The homeowner reported that suspects had forcefully entered through her back door and pilfered a collection of jewelry items.
The subsequent investigation by deputies was comprehensive, relying on witness statements, local surveillance footage, and collaboration with other agencies. Their efforts culminated in the identification of two suspects: Kemicheal Wiley and Torren Johnson. Both are no strangers to the criminal justice system. The information, which includes the identities of the suspects, was confirmed by a recent post on the official Facebook page of Constable Mark Herman's Office.
Authorities recovered the stolen jewels and restored them to their rightful owner. “Kemicheal Wiley and Torren Johnson were charged with Burglary of a Habitation and a warrant has been issued for their arrest upon their release from the Fort Bend County Jail. Their bond has not been set at time out of the 262nd District Court,” stated Constable Mark Herman.
