Phoenix residents were met with a grim discovery in the vicinity of a popular local steakhouse on Sunday evening. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, two bodies were found inside a silver Nissan Altima parked near the LongHorn Steakhouse at 75th Avenue and Thomas Road. A welfare check call made at around 8:25 p.m. prompted police to visit the location where they found the bodies of a man and a woman, both presenting with gunshot wounds.
As reported by 12News, a crew was on the scene soon after the incident, confirming that both individuals had been shot and pronounced dead at the scene. The location, near the Desert Sky Mall, was active with law enforcement as they conducted their preliminary investigation under the lights of the steakhouse's parking lot.
Details about the victims have not been released. "Homicide detectives are investigating this case," as stated by Fox 10 Phoenix.
