What they found upon arrival at approximately 11:33 P.M. was a 16-year-old boy with gunshot wounds lying down in evident distress. In an unfortunately futile attempt, officers provided immediate medical assistance until the EMS arrived, only to have the young victim pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased juvenile's identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
