On Wednesday, at around 11:34 P.M., the Vallejo Police Department's Patrol Division responded to a shooting report near Sonoma Boulevard and Louisiana Street. Officers arrived to find an adult male with at least one gunshot wound. They provided medical assistance until paramedics arrived, but despite their efforts, the man died at the scene, according to the Vallejo Police Department.
Vallejo Police Department's Homicide Detectives soon arrived and took charge of the investigation. The motive and details surrounding the shooting are currently being investigated. Authorities are looking for any information that might help in solving the case.
