
The Wright County Sheriff's Office has released its arrest report for the period ending July 8, detailing a series of arrests across the county. The report, which was published on their official website, comprises various offenses including controlled substance violations, domestic assaults, and multiple instances of driving while intoxicated (DWI).
Among the arrests was Abdulhakim Mohammed Dahir, 28, of Waite Park, taken into custody in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for 3rd-degree DWI. On the same day, authorities in Pine County arrested Alexis Ann Dwinnell, 29, of Montrose, for a 5th Degree Controlled Substance under a Wright County warrant. The string of arrests continued with Ronald James Johnson, 54, of Cokato in Meeker County, on two warrants related to the violation of a Domestic Abuse Order for Protection, as detailed by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office website.
Other notable arrests over the week included Kerry Susan Buckanaga, 38, of Minneapolis, apprehended in Clearwater for 5th Degree Controlled Substance and Introducing Contraband in a Correctional Facility, as well as Christopher Lawrence Demars, 58, of Buffalo, detained on a charge of Domestic Assault, as reported by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office. The arrests represent a concerted effort by the Wright County Sheriff's Office to address a range of criminal activities.
The report further enumerated traffic-related incidents, detailing 35 Property Damage Accidents, 3 Personal Injury Accidents, 6 Hit and Run Accidents, and 4 Car Deer Accidents. Additionally, enforcement actions led to 6 arrests for DWI, 22 for Underage Consumption, and a total of 122 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations.
