An 18-year-old named Roelmer Fabrisio was taken into custody by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office following a fatal stabbing incident in Plant City, as reported by multiple sources. In the early hours of Friday, deputies were called to the scene at the 5800 block of Bob Smith Avenue, where they discovered a victim suffering from severe upper-body injuries.
As per the information in a press release from the sheriff's office, covered by FOX 13 News, the incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m., and the victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, later succumbed to the injuries inflicted during the alleged assault.
According to a WTSP report, one of the charges Fabrisio now faces is second-degree murder with a weapon.
Further details provided by WFLA indicate the stabbing was the result of a verbal argument that escalated to lethal violence. Sheriff Chad Chronister was quoted by the publication, stating, "Any argument, no matter how intense, should never result in the loss of life.
