In a comprehensive sweep by law enforcement, 19 individuals were placed under arrest during a Registered Sex Offender Compliance Check in the jurisdiction of the Perris Sheriff Station. The check was carried out on Thursday to rigorously enforce adherence to the law among registered sex offenders on parole or probation, as per the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

The day-long operation, spanning from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., saw deputies joining forces with officers from various teams and was intended to ensure compliance with state laws. The task force managed to check 23 different locations, scrutinizing 40 sex offender registrants in the process. Nine arrest warrants, four parole violations, three probation violations, a 290 Penal Code violation for failure to register, and various substance-related charges were among the plethora of reasons for the apprehensions, as per the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Among those detained were individuals like 30-year-old Ural Gamble for parole violation, and Adam Britto, aged 48, who was arrested for failing to comply with his sex offender registration requirements. A total of 19 individuals faced the brunt of the law with charges that ranged from drug possession to driving under the influence, reflective of a zero-tolerance stance on parole and probation violations within this community.

Authorities booked the offenders at either the Cois Byrd Detention Center or the Robert Presley Detention Center. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department has called for anyone with additional information to come forward, and reach out to either Investigator Milian or the Perris Sheriff’s Station. The takedown serves as a reminder of ongoing efforts to vigilantly maintain community safety and uphold the conditions set forth by the criminal justice system.
