An 8-year-old girl is currently recovering after being involved in a vehicular incident with a Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD school bus this past Friday. According to KENS 5, the collision took place around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Storm King and Black Butte.
The Schertz Police Department responded to the scene after reports of the collision and identified the injured pedestrian as a student from Sippel Elementary School. She was immediately transported to a local hospital with injuries that were later confirmed to be non-life-threatening.
