The ensuing search revealed a significant quantity of illegal narcotics on his person, leading to his arrest. The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department reported that the man, identified as Adrian Flores, 38, was taken into custody on suspicion of narcotics possession for sales on Monday at around 9:44 a.m. near Navajo Road and Powhatan Road, as reported by the Apple Valley Police Department.
According to the official release, Deputy K Watson and J Hiromoto of the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station initiated contact with Flores for their personal safety, culminating in the discovery of the narcotics. Flores was subsequently booked at the High Desert Detention Center, his bail set at $40,000. The nature of the narcotics was not disclosed in the initial report.
