The Austin Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in the disruption of an emergency phone call. On July 11th, an incident resulted in an employee being forced to physically pursue a suspect who had commandeered their phone during a 911 call. This confrontation occurred at the North Lamar Boulevard Walgreens, according to the authorities.
Described as a muscular black male in his early 30s with a tattoo on his right arm and bicep, the suspect is believed to be frequently accompanied by four children under the age of six, and a thin Hispanic female, who also has a tattoo on her right leg. Running down the suspect, the employee eventually regained possession of the phone.
