
Following a shooting incident that took place in Baltimore's Southeast District earlier this year, authorities have apprehended a suspect. In a statement shared by the Baltimore Police, 25-year-old Christopher Boykin was arrested on charges of attempted first-degree murder in connection to the May 6 shooting.

In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Southeast District on May 6, 2024, detectives have arrested 25-year-old Christopher Boykin.

Officials report that the victim, a 25-year-old male, was found shot on the 500 block of North Curley Street. The investigation eventually pointed to Boykin as the alleged shooter. An arrest warrant was secured on August 4, following which Boykin was detained on August 10 by Southeast District Action Team officers in the 600 block of North Glover Street.
Boykin was then taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility. Witnesses or anyone with further information about the incident that occurred in May are being urged to come forth.
