Early morning activity on the streets of Baltimore's 2500 block of Greenmount Avenue led to a significant arrest by the City's Western Enforcement Task Force. In a post by the Baltimore Police, it was reported that on August 2, CWET detectives were out to curb robberies when they spotted what appeared to be a drug transaction.

The officers, who were specifically assigned to robbery prevention duties, zeroed in on a 35-year-old male at approximately 4:36 a.m. Upon approaching the suspect's vehicle, detectives retrieved a loaded Rossi .38 special revolver alongside a substantial cache of drugs – 61 vials suspected to contain cocaine, and 23 gel caps believed to be filled with heroin.
The identity of the male has not been released, however, his next destination was the Central Booking and Intake Facility for processing, as noted by the police department's official communication.
