A somber mood envelops the typically serene neighborhood of Buckingham Township following a tragic incident yesterday morning where officials say a murder-suicide left three people dead, as reported by FOX 29 News. The Buckingham Township Police responded to a 911 call around 10:27 a.m. from an elderly individual reporting unresponsive persons at a residence on the 3900 block of Charter Club Drive in "The Ridings of Buckingham."
According to 6abc Action News, upon entering the house officials discovered three deceased individuals: Steven Chow, 59, his son Raymond Chow, 21, and his wife Amy Troung, 63, each with a gunshot wound to the head, with preliminary investigations suggesting that Steven Chow fatally shot his family members while they were in their beds, and then proceeded to take his own life in the same manner, though a motive has not yet been publicly disclosed by the authorities.
Neighbors who witnessed the police activity expressed their disbelief to reporters, with resident Jennifer Dicarlantonio telling FOX 29 News, "it’s shocking to me. I’m curious what happened. No idea you know- -always a nice calm family, they walk a lot, always out tending to their landscaping."
