The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office is currently on the hunt for a 28-year-old man accused of assaulting his 18-year-old female relative, as reported by several local news outlets. The alleged incident took place early yesterday morning in Pennfield Township. According to WZZM13, during a routine foot patrol around 6:30 a.m. near N Helmer Road and Lafayette Avenue, deputies were approached by the visibly upset young woman who claimed she was attacked by a male relative who also brandished a firearm during the altercation.
The victim, who was taken to the Sheriff's Office Pennfield Substation for more questioning, indicated that the assault occurred in the 100 block of Milton Avenue.
