Four residents of Candler County, Georgia find themselves facing serious drug trafficking charges following a coordinated sting operation that spanned several months. On Tuesday, August 27, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), in tandem with local law enforcement authorities, apprehended Efram "Todd" Donaldson, Justin Eugene Aldrich, Nakia Quaterrio Donaldson, and Byron Jamal Brown. The GBI's press release details the charges which include, Trafficking Methamphetamine, Use of a Communication Facility to Commit a Felony, and Conspiracy to Commit A Felony.
Beginning in February 2024, the extensive operation concluded with the execution of two search warrants. The targeted locations were a residence on the 600 block of Marcus Street and a truck parked on the 700 block of Kevin Lane, both in Metter. Along with methamphetamine, law enforcement agents seized rifles, handguns, suspected marijuana, and over $30,000.
