
Early morning disturbance in Shadybrook led to a high-speed chase and a crash in Duncanville, ending with the arrest of two suspects. Cedar Hill Police Department responded to a report of gunfire at approximately 3:40 a.m. Officers came upon a vehicle speeding away from the Shadybrook neighborhood, resulting in a pursuit.
The chase came to its conclusion when the said vehicle crashed in Duncanville. Law enforcement officials managed to apprehend two individuals involved. A 17-year-old from Dallas and a 20-year-old from Denton were taken into custody, while a third suspect managed to evade capture. According to the police, a weapon identified as an AK-47 style pistol, along with ammunition and drugs, were found inside the vehicle, the officers' quick intervention was commended for ensuring the safety of the community.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the suspects or provided detailed information about the remaining at-large perpetrator. The incident, fortunately, did not result in any injuries. The Cedar Hill Police highlighted their gratitude for their officers' dedication to community safety, noting how the situation could have potentially resulted in harm to residents or officers.
