The beloved Cincinnati classic, Aglamesis Bros' Ice Cream and Candy, is branching out with a fresh location slated to open in Hamilton, bringing their renowned sweet treats to the historic Main Street Business District—confirmation comes after their recent chocolate production ramp-up in downtown Cincinnati. According to an announcement from the brand itself, the third parlor will nestle into The Davis Building at 304 Main Street, thanks to spaces furnished by the Consortium for Ongoing Reinvestment Efforts (CORE).
Randy Young, steering Aglamesis Bros' as the third-generation President, expressed his initial uncertainty turned astonishment at the resemblance of Hamilton's neighborhood facelift to the development seen around their Oakley spot, stating through CityBeat "I didn’t know what to expect when I went for my first site visit," and noting the vivid similarities between the two localities. His daughter, Kristi Weissman, V.P. and General Manager, added, "We never imagined that our next parlor location would be this far outside of Cincinnati, but the offer that Hamilton put together for us was just too compelling to not consider simply because of the distance involved," according to Journal-News.
Hamilton's new spot anticipates opening by late summer or early fall, necessitating minor renovations for candy showcases and chocolate displays in the first place.
