Seattle investigators have been dispatched to North Beacon Hill, where a fatal shooting incident unfolded last night, leaving one dead and another critically injured. Police responded to an emergency call at approximately 11:51 p.m., where a woman reported being shot while inside a vehicle on the 1000 block of 12th Avenue South near Dr. Jose Rizal Park, as per the Seattle Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers discovered both an adult male and an adult female with multiple gunshot wounds. The Seattle Fire Department rendered immediate aid; however, the male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the female was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in a critical state. A third female who was also present in the vehicle escaped the ordeal without physical harm.
The area surrounding Dr. Jose Rizal Park turned into a crime scene, cordoned off as detectives with the Homicide and Crime Scene Investigation Units conducted their examination. The King County Medical Examiner has since taken custody of the deceased victim's body. Yet, as of now, the perpetrators behind this tragic event remain at large, with no arrests made thus far.
