The Detroit Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public in locating La'Mari Jordon, an 18-year-old resident of Detroit who has been reported missing since August 2. Jordon was last seen departing from his home on the 18900 block of Hull Street.

Authorities describe Jordon as being 5 feet 7 inches in height, with black braided hair, brown eyes, and weighing around 145 pounds. It was reported by ClickOnDetroit that he was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and red shorts. His mother has disclosed that La'Mari suffers from bipolar disorder, which may further to exacerbate concerns for his well-being.

In an effort to widely disseminate the call for assistance, Detroit Police Department's 11th Precinct released a statement on their Facebook page urging anyone with information to come forward. "Please help us find missing La'Mari Jordon," the post reads, which also provides the contact numbers for anyone who might have seen Jordon or knows of his whereabouts.

The police are urging the community to take an active role in the search process. Anyone who can provide information regarding Jordon's disappearance is encouraged to immediately contact the Detroit Police Department’s 11th Precinct at 313-596-1140. Alternatively, those wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up to potentially help to reunite La'Mari Jordon with his family.
