On Sunday afternoon, Fairfield police recovered a significant cache of sports memorabilia lost in transit. The recovery began when a store employee spotted the missing items on an online marketplace and reported it to the police. Officers Mack and Clatterbuck were alerted and coordinated with the employee, who arranged a meeting with the seller.

The police intervened during the meeting and discovered the stolen memorabilia in the seller's vehicle. The seller then agreed to allow the police to search his home, where they found the remaining items. The memorabilia, estimated to be worth around $12,000, was documented and returned to the store.

Following the recovery, the Fairfield Police Department reported that the 23-year-old suspect was taken into custody and booked at Solano County Jail.
