Early Sunday morning, Fire Station 25 in Southeast Portland became the target of vandalism. At approximately 1:46 AM, security footage captured an individual driving a 1997-2003 white Ford F150 pickup truck onto the property at 5211 SE Mall Street, aggressively honking the vehicle's horn and causing deliberate damage to the premises, as reported on the Portland Fire & Rescue's official news release.

The driver, who has yet to be identified, was seen driving erratically—first over the curb and onto the fire station's lawn and then reversing into the street only to return and forcefully strike the garage door. This action caused significant damage that necessitated emergency repairs for the door to become fully operational once again. The same vehicle proceeded to damage the property further by hitting the flagpole whilst maneuvering back over the lawn.

Portland Fire & Rescue is actively seeking information on the individual and vehicle involved in the incident. Damage to the truck is likely, with officials noting that the passenger front corner and the side of the vehicle may show signs of the impacts. Additionally, mud is expected to be present on the vehicle's sides, tires, and wheels, a consequence of the destruction wreaked upon the station's lawn.

Investigators are requesting assistance from the community in identifying the vandal. Anyone with information about the white Ford F150—specifically one with a long bed and filled with garbage—is urged to come forward. The truck's distinct appearance, along with the anticipated damage, is believed to possibly stand out, aiding in the prompt identification of the suspect.
