The incident occurred at 19700 W Parthenia Street and was first reported at 7:47 a.m., according to LAFD Alert. Officials described the scene as a four-vehicle collision with a total of four victims, two of whom were trapped and in need of extrication by emergency responders.
Subsequently, the LAFD provided an update at 08:18 a.m., stating that the two individuals trapped had been safely removed from their vehicles. The patients—a 20-year-old woman, a 24-year-old woman, and a 50-year-old woman—were all transported to a local hospital for treatment. A 33-year-old man involved in the crash declined transport by LAFD, as noted in a report by LAFD's follow-up alert. All further questions regarding the details of the collision have been referred to the LAPD Devonshire precinct.
The cause of the incident is currently under investigation by the LAPD, and no additional information has been released concerning the condition of the injured parties or the precise circumstances leading up to the collision.
