A car chase in the 12300 block of Will Clayton Parkway led Harris County deputies on a wild ride yesterday, only to end with a suspect still at large. The action unfolded when Constable Mark Herman's deputies attempted to pull over what turned out to be a stolen vehicle. The driver, however, was not about to give up without a fight, igniting a chase that soon turned into mayhem. According to a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman's Office, the chase was brief but intense.

The driver pushed the stolen car to its limits before losing control and crashing, after, which both the driver and his passenger, a 15-year-old male, bolted from the scene. Deputies managed to nab the teen following a short foot chase, but the driver—a man named Noah Miley, already out on bond for serious charges. The identified suspect, Noah Miley, currently has another run-in pending with the justice system for assault on a peace officer and possession of a controlled substance.

"Noah Miley is currently wanted for Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle. His bond has not been set at this time out of the 263rd District Court," said Constable Herman's office. The incident has left authorities seeking the public's assistance in locating Miley, who now has added a new item to his list of alleged criminal activities. The minor involved in this pursuit was promptly arrested and faces charges of Evading Arrest; he now resides within the confines of the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
