A violent incident occurred involving local teenagers and an attempted murder on June 2 at around 11:00 PM. According to the Healdsburg Police Department, they received a call from Healdsburg District Hospital about a victim with multiple life-threatening stab wounds. This led to the arrest of two 18-year-olds.
At first, details about the incident were limited, and the victim was not very cooperative with the police. However, officers continued their investigation, which led to the arrest of Anthony Lucas Cruz and Katie Anne Beth. Both are now facing serious charges, including attempted murder and conspiracy to commit a crime.
The charges leveraged against Cruz and Beth stand stark on the Sonoma County Jail's ledger: attempted murder under Penal Code 664/187(a) and conspiracy to commit a crime outlined under Penal Code 182(a)(1). The Healdsburg Police Department, through their diligent efforts, have situated both Cruz and Beth in the eye of the judicial system, where they must now face the consequences set before them by the state.
