
The Holland Department of Public Safety is currently on the lookout for the driver of a vehicle involved in a crash into a Holland residence early Friday morning, as confirmed by WZZM13. The incident, which occurred around 1:30 a.m., began when an officer noted a car believed to be without a license plate speeding off after the officer attempted to approach it on Hastings Avenue.
According to the police, the officer lost sight of the vehicle after it turned west onto 24th Street from where the officer had tried catching up with it, and the police, later found that a car crashed into a home in the 500 block of Central Avenue following a 911 call, the residence suffered damage yet thankfully, no injuries were reported among the home's occupants. WOODTV stated that upon the officers' arrival at the scene, they found the car abandoned and the driver had already fled on foot.
Investigations are continuing, and the Holland Department of Public Safety is urging anyone with information to come forward and contact them directly or to reach out anonymously through the Silent Observer hotline, Holland Sentinel reported.
