The Howard County Department of Public Works is set to host an outreach meeting to inform the local community about upcoming repairs to the Mt. Hebron Stormwater Pond. The meeting is scheduled for August 28th at the Howard County Library System’s Miller branch, according to an announcement from the Howard County press release.
This essential infrastructure project entails the replacement of an old metal outlet pipe with a new concrete counterpart, complying with state environmental requirements. Scheduled to start in fall 2025, with completion aimed for spring 2026, the construction's pace will hinge upon the whims of weather.
