An officer with the Lake Havasu City Police Department was involved in a shooting incident during a response to a domestic violence call late on the evening of August 1. The incident occurred in the 3400 block of Oro Grande Blvd. around 9:07 p.m., according to a news release from the department.
The details of the confrontation are sparse, but it is confirmed that there were no injuries to either the officers or subjects involved in the incident. In line with standard procedure, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has been tasked with the investigation. The officers and the subject's names are currently withheld from the public.
