
The City of Las Cruces has called upon the services of the OIR Group, a firm dedicated to conducting police department audits, to engage in a conversation with the community on Monday, Aug. 26, this dialogue, crucial to transparency and trust, will unfold in the Council Chambers at City Hall, cited at 700 N. Main St.
The public forum arranged by the OIR Group will initiate at 4 p.m. or immediately after the City Council Work Session conclusion, should it extend beyond 3:30 p.m., providing a platform for residents to interface directly with the auditors, this interchange offering a chance to glean understanding into the evaluative measures overseeing our protectors and the services rendered by OIR, sharing of personal stories, inquiries, and testimonies that represent the pulse of our community as it lives beneath the watch of the law.
