A violent incident on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia has led to the tragic death of a man in his late 30s after a shooting resulted in a car crash Wednesday afternoon. NBC Philadelphia reported that the man was discovered with a chest gunshot wound inside his silver Honda CR-V. The victim had collided with the median, and another car after being shot.
The crash, which occurred near Old York Road, narrowed traffic to one lane in both directions for hours, causing delays along the thoroughfare. Despite emergency medical attention and a rush to the hospital, the man was pronounced deceased, CBS News Philadelphia stated. As per officials, no weapon was recovered at the scene, and as of now, no arrests have been made.
