
The Metropolitan Police Department is on the lookout for three suspects connected to an armed robbery in Northwest Washington, D.C., earnestly appealing to the public for any leads. This came following an incident on Sunday, August 18, when at roughly 2:10 a.m., a man was confronted and robbed at gunpoint on the 900 block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northwest, the MPD relayed in a recent release. The perpetrators, who were armed and threatening, successfully absconded with the victim's belongings and were last seen getting away in a vehicle.
In a statement obtained by MPDC's official website, authorities have urged anyone with information that might steer them to these suspects to refrain from direct engagement and rather contact police at (202) 727-9099, or anonymously text the details to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
To bolster efforts in apprehending those responsible, the MPD has announced a reward – a sum up to $10,000 will be granted for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved.
